I feel you second generation Kpop stans! I feel you!
So here's a post reminiscing about the old days when you first discovered Kpop. When your 30 year old Oppas and Unnies or Hyungs and Noonas were still 20 (Ow, harsh)
Personally when I listen to these songs, they make me think of a time where all I did was think about the day I'll fly to South Korea and meet all my favorite singers and celebrities. (Still haven't if you're curious)

B2ST - Fiction (2011)
The beat, the dance, the harmony... EVERYTHING in this song screams NOSTALGIA.
Also, how young is Park Boyoung in this music video?
2. Infinite - Come back again (2010)
The guitar sound, the synchronisation in their dance and the little doggy at the end with the bling bling. How does this not call for an old kpop songs marathon!
I just paused writing so I can attempt dancing to the chorus! Go and try this choreo and let me know how it turns out.
3. Shinee - Ring Ding Dong (2009)
If you haven't attempted to this dance and thought your moves were on point then you should do just that. Drop everything and get to it NOW!
Memories memories.
Even for new Kpop fans, this song is a must know, so if you're new Shawol or not, go check it out. (Though it's almost impossible to not know Shinee if you're a Kpop stan)
it's FANTASTIC and you'll feel ELASTIC after trying to dance to it.

4. 2PM - Hands up (2011)
I imagined being in the music video with them. The song has a summer vibe in it.
Beware as it makes you want to go out and party with your friends (DO NOT GO OUT UNLESS IT'S NECESSARY- STAY SAFE)
Unless it's a virtual party, then go all in!
It's on replay now, I'm stuck with it in my head.
I did Taecyeon's rap parts with such sincerity and power you don't even know!
5. Super Junior - Mr.Simple (2011)
Because I naughty naughty! JUMP JUMP JUMP
This song made me feel like a bad-ass , still does
When I first listened to this song, I didn't know what Kpop was, so imagine me trying to search for it not knowing what it is or which words to type in the search bar to get what I'm looking for.
Super Junior went through a lot as a group, and it's one of the reasons that makes then legendary.
6. TVXQ - Mirotic (2008)
The masterpiece this is! No words to explain how good this is.
The dance break, the high note COME ON COME ON!
No other song has ever managed to match it. #Nooffencetoallthekpopindustry
7. Big Bang - Last Farewell (2007)
It was difficult to pick just one, too many nostalgic songs. But I settled on the last farewell because it's just so upbeat.
I used to copy TOP's rap part in the kitchen and be like GO!

8. MBLAQ - Stay (2011)
The hand dance, SHAKE IT SHAKE IT SHAKE IT
This song screams old kpop
