A life lesson : Made in Heaven

I watch a lot of movies and tv series so it's hard for one to make a lasting impact on me. Simply put, it has to be VERY VERY GOOD.

And I might have just found the one.

Chalo!

Hindi series are known for their over dramatic editing and out of this world plots but we still watch them because they're fun.

But this one is very realistic. It's one of those shows you wish existed with unlimited amount of episodes.

The series follows two friends that started a wedding planning business. They offer their services to the upper class families of India. They show you the harsh reality of their world and how things are not perfect even with money involved.

I have to say that my favorite episode has to be the fourth one. It's not that I didn't like the other episodes just as much, but simply put, the fourth episode left an everlasting impact on me.

It only needed one moment to make everything make sense and that was when our bride stopped the wedding. Without going too much into details seeing as I already spoiled it for you - sorry not sorry- but here is what she said : I'm not going to pay anyone to marry me!

And BOOM, the curtain's closed, go home people.

And just to say, the narration makes it even better, what they comment is what we all think and wish to say or do.

P.S: The voice fits perfectly.

Without limiting the series to just weddings- though in each wedding there's a story- it also follows the lives of our planners and their families. The series deals with being gay in an India where the section 377 still existed. With how a woman can create herself from nothing, even by playing dirty. With how living a lie can make you miserable. And much much more.

Anyways this was such a quick post to tell you all to go watch the show.
